DUCATI LOWER FAIRING KIT
DUCATI PART # 96978805B Total install time including finding tools and putting tools away was 1-1/2 hours. Fit is very good. Front turn signal mounting holes needed to be "reamed" out a bit. Figuring out which bracket is which was a bit of a challenge. Instructions were okay for Ducati instructions. ;-) Checking oil level is a bit of a chore but a flashlight helps. Adding oil is also a bit of chore but if you use one of those "hose attachments on your oil bottle you shouldn't have any problems. Actually in 2000 miles I haven't used a drop of oil! I will take off the fairings when I take my PS in for service. If any thing happens to them it will be my fault. My PS seems to run at about the temp as before I installed the lower fairing kit. I need to do more testing. Even in slow in-town traffic I haven't noticed any increase in operating temp. |
